Trail Workdays

Everyone is welcome to come out on trail work days. It’s a great opportunity to learn about sustainable trail construction and maintenance, as well as meet and get to know other TCMBA members. Typical workdays are held on Saturdays from 8:00am to Noon, followed by lunch. Be sure to dress for the weather, wear closed toe shoes and bring plenty of water.

McGee Lungbuster Volunteer Opportunities

Our biggest event of the year is held in October and wouldn’t be possible without our incredible sponsors and volunteers! The Annual Fat Tire Festival is a two-day event at the TCMBA’s home trail, The Ridgeland Trails, and is the last stop on the Gulf South Regional Mountain Bike Series. It consists of kids racing, enduro racing and live music, and finishes on Sunday with the McGee Lungbuster. An event like this requires a lot of help. We need volunteers for course set up, registration, course marshals, parking, food, merchandise sales and more. Contact us to sign up.
